Manaslu Trekking is one of the remote and high passes trekkings in Nepal. The trek offers insight of primitive Tibetan influenced culture and tradition as well as sensational mountain views and spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and China. The trek takes you to one of the most dramatic Himalayan high altitudes pass called Larke La from where you are rewarded with a stunning panorama looking towards Himlung Himal (7126m), Manaslu & the Annapurna peaks, with the peaks of Ganesh Himal (7406m) to the east. Much of this trek is in a region of strong Tibetan influence. The inhabitants of upper Buri Gandaki region are Nupri, who are direct descendants of Tibetan immigration. Buddhist prayer flags and chortes are abundant in the region.
Since we began in the early 90s we have always strived to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible and to give back to the many villages we pass through on our trekking itineraries. Today we still embrace this responsible travel approach when devising and operating our small group travel holiday experiences in Nepal. We invite you to trek in Nepal with the Himalayan trekking specialists Raj Bala Treks and Expeditions.
