Geeta Sharma

Chairperson

When the sisters, Geeta Sharma and Lata Sharma started Raj Bala Treks & Expedition there were very few companies in Nepal run by women.

Geeta Sharma had joined the tourism industry in Nepal from her early age. Being dedicated and passionate about her work, she very soon learned the trade and became successful in establishing good contacts with domestic and international partners.

Since the start of the company her continuous hard work, well planning, ability to communicate and readiness to provide the detailed information and excellent organization of the tour & trek packages has taken the company to a greater height.

She holds Masters Degree in English Literature from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She loves reading, learning new languages and exploring adventure & cultural journeys.

Being an avid traveler and trekker, she has trekked across all the trekking regions in Nepal and has visited US and many Asian countries.

Lata Sharma

Managing Director

Language Spoken – Nepali, English, Chinese, Hindi & Bengali

Working in tourism industry in Nepal since an early age, she loves mountains, nature, culture & festivals. She does not only hold the executive position at the office but also has successfully managed to guide herself different groups on adventure & cultural trekking trips in Nepal.

She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Masters Degree Education in Rural Development and Studies. She enjoys doing yoga, meditation and herself is a gym practitioner.

Travelling and reading is her innate passion. She has extensively traveled to USA, UK, Switzerland and many Asian countries. From each of her travel she brings the knowledge and skills to work better for her company.

Due to her depth knowledge in management and finances, she has been able to play a key role in expansion of the company and promoting to the company to a strong financial position.

Miguel Bray is our Director of Marketing in USA. He lives in Boston in USA. He holds the responsibility of our marketing strategies in USA and North American sector.

With experience gained from his myriad of global travel destinations and having worked in hospitality industry in different states of US, his knowledge is an asset for our company expansion and success in organizing each and every trip.

He is extremely passionate about travelling, food, music and opera.

Basu Guragain

US Contact

Basu Guragain is our Marketing Executive in USA. He lives in Boston in USA. He is responsible for carrying out our marketing plan and strategies in USA, UK and Australia.

He is Bachelor Degree holder in Social Welfare from Hawai University and Masters Degree Holder in Social Welfare from Boston University.

He helps in designing and creating new products for the company and travels extensively to showcase our products to the world market.

Namgel Sherpa

Trekking Guides

Namgel is an enthusiastic Trekking Guide filled with great energy. He originally comes from Khumbu and holds experience in this field for more than 15 years already. He has keen interest in tourism and loves working in this field. He is very much familiar with Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga and Langtang regions of Nepal. He speaks good English and has immense knowledge about Nepal’s culture, traditions, trekking routes, and the mountains. He holds a license from the Ministry of Tourism in Nepal and also has a High Altitude First Aid Certificate.

Ngawang Sherpa

Trekking & Climbing Guides

Born and raised in a village of Khumbu region which is the home of Mount Everest; Ngawang Sherpa is a dedicated, professional Trekking / Climbing Guide of Raj Bala Treks & Expedition. He is one of the most experienced trekking / climbing guides who has been working in the field of trekking and hiking with us since last many years. He has led many groups for trekking & climbing trips to Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu and various remote regions of Nepal.

In regards to his professional achievements, he is a licensed Trekking & Climbing Guide from the Government of Nepal. He has completed several training courses such as first aid training in high altitude regions, altitude sickness training and leadership trek training & climbing guide training. He can speak English frequents

Pasang Sherpa

Trekking Guide

Pasang Sherpa is an extremely hard-working Sherpa trekking guide who has been involved in the industry of travel and tourism for the last many years. He is an enthusiastic trekking guide who always makes sure that the customers are having the best of time and are comfortable. He received his training as a Trekking and Mountain Climbing Guide from NATHM & Nepal Mountaineering Association respectively and speaks good English for communication during climbing and trekking.

Rajeev Dhungana

Trekking Guide

He is one of our experienced trekking guide and very humble and willing to trek through different routes, regardless of the difficulty. He holds the Trekking Guide license by the Ministry of Nepal Tourism. Keeping good knowledge of local areas and with interest in culture & festivals he has been working as a Trekking Guide for our company since last many years.

Nischal Neupane

Trekking Guide

Trained and certified by the Ministry of Nepal Tourism, he is one of our experienced Trekking Guides. Since last many years, he has been leading our groups in different trekking regions of Nepal. He has good communication skill and can speak English fluently. He keeps knowledge of local areas and well known about the culture, festivals and life style of the people he is definitely able to make your trekking trip a successful and memorable one.

Bhakta Bishwakarma

Trekking Guide

He is a hard working Trekking Guide obtained license from Ministry of Nepal Tourism. He has good knowledge about the trekking trails and has walked on all sorts of terrains with our guests, always keeping them safe and making sure that they are enjoying the time to the fullest.

Anand Sapkota

Driven by his love for the mountains Anand is passionate about his work as a Trekking Guide. His exemplary diligence, commitment, and proactive communication have gained him the trust of all his guests. In addition, with his long experience and good judgment, Anand is someone who can be depended upon when the situation arises.
